MD Richard Ruskin guides his favourite event of the year, the annual Wildebeest Migration. Richard has guided during the Migration Safari every year for the last 17 years. It really is one of the most exciting events in the World. This Safari visits some of the best areas for game viewing. See Samburu, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti as well as jewel in Africa’s crown, Masai Mara. Accommodation comprises of four and five star luxury tented camps, lodges and hotels. This guided safari is suited to people of all ages, families and groups. On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met by Richard Ruskin and transferred to FAIRMONT THE NORFOLK HOTEL for your two night stay.
After breakfast you will be taken on a tour visiting the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Karen Blixen Museum and the Giraffe Centre. In the evening enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. (B, L, D)
Day 3Nairobi - Samburu National Park
This morning you will be met by your African Travel Specialists Kenyan driver/guides, before heading to Samburu National Reserve arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will be taken on an afternoon game drive. Two nights at SAMBURU INTREPIDS. (B, L, D)
Day 4Samburu National Reserve
Today you will be taken on a morning and afternoon game drive in Samburu National Reserve. The Samburu National Reserve offers animals and birds that are unique to the area. Overnight at SAMBURU INTREPIDS. (B, L, D)
Day 5Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, you will continue your safari driving from Samburu Intrepids to Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp located within the 110,000acre Ol Pejeta Conservancy where you will be taken on an afternoon game drive in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The next two nights will be spent at SWEETWATERS SERENA CAMP. (B, L, D)

Today, you will be taken on a full day of game viewing. (B, L, D)
Day 7Nairobi - Kilimanjaro
After breakfast, you will be transferred by road to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport where you will check in for your scheduled flight from Nairobi to Kilimanjaro Airport. On arrival you will be met and transferred by road to the ARUSHA COFFEE LODGE for your overnight stay. (B, L, D)
Day 8Kilimanjaro – Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater
Today you will be driven to Lake Manyara for a game drive, followed by lunch at Lake Manyara Serena. In the afternoon you will continue your drive to Ngorongoro. For the next two nights you will stay at NGORONGORO SOPA LODGE. (B, L, D)
Day 9Ngorongoro Crater
This morning you will descend into the crater for a full day of game viewing and a picnic lunch. In the late afternoon you will visit a Masai Village. (B, L, D)
Day 10Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park
Today is a long but exciting day with most of the time driving through the Serengeti to MBALAGETI TENTED LODGE which is located in the Western corridor. You will have a picnic lunch and an afternoon game drive en route to the lodge. Many clients say this is one of the highlights of the Safari. (B, L, D)
Day 11Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will depart on a full day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. This park is known as the world’s last great wildlife refuge, home to thirty-five species of plains game and 500 birds. Overnight at MBALAGETI LODGE. (B, L, D)
Day 12Serengeti National Park – Masai Mara
This morning you will be transferred to the Grumeti airstrip for your scheduled flight to Tarime. On arrival you will be taken by road to Migori connecting with your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival, you will be met and transferred by road to Kichwa Tembo in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The next three nights you will stay at KICHWA TEMBO. Days 13-14Masai Mara
Two days spent in the Masai Mara game viewing. The Masai Mara is host to the most spectacular array of wildlife with 320 square kilometres of open savannah, woodlands and tree-lined rivers creating an eco-system which supports huge numbers of bird and mammal species. It is here that the Wildebeest Migration should be in full swing, providing opportunities to see them massing as well as crossing the river. (B, L, D)
Day 15Masai Mara - Nairobi
Check out after breakfast and transfer to the airstrip for you scheduled flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport. On arrival you will be transferred back to FAIRMONT THE NORFOLK HOTEL for your overnight stay. In the evening there will be a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. (B, D)
Day 16Nairobi Depart
After breakfast you will be transferred to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your onward flight. (B)
