This morning you will be transferred by private vehicle to Meknes often referred to as the ‘Versailles of Morocco’ with its opulent palaces of Sultans past. You will also visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis – one of the best preserved Roman towns in North Africa, before continuing on to Fes. Two nights RIAD FES. (B)
Today you will be taken on a full day tour of Fes with an English-speaking local guide. In the morning explore the ancient streets and mosques of the World Heritage listed Medina of Fes el-Bali (OId Fes). Visit the Dar Batha Museum, a wonderfully maintained 18th century traditional riad and discover the mellah (Jewish district)
of Fes. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity
to explore the newest part of the city, trendy Fes J’did, a
stark contrast to the historical sites of the morning. (B)
After breakfast, head to bustling Marrakech. On the way you will pass through the Middle Atlas region which offers spectacular scenic views and rustic Berber villages, some of which you will have the opportunity to stop and discover before continuing onto Marrakech. Today enjoy a full day tour of Marrakech with an English speaking local guide visiting the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque, the labyrinthine El Bahia Palace and Jemaa el- Fnaa Square. In the afternoon, spend time wandering the colourful stalls of Morocco’s largest souk. (B)

Day 7Marrakech – Essaouira
After breakfast, transfer to the medieval seaside town of Essaouira. Experience its World Heritage listed fortified medina with its white-washed and blue-shuttered houses, colonnades, thuya wood workshops, art galleries and mouth-watering seafood. Two nights PALAIS HEURE BLEUE. (B)
