On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met by Richard Ruskin and transferred to FAIRMONT THE NORFOLK HOTEL for your two-night stay.
After breakfast you will be taken on a tour of the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Karen Blixen Museum and the Giraffe Centre. In the evening enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. (B, L, D)
Day 3Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
This morning you will be met at the hotel reception and begin your safari with a drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge at sunset. The next two nights will be spent at AMBOSELI SERENA LODGE. (B, L, D)
Day 4Amboseli National Park
Today you will be taken on morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli National Park, hopefully seeing views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. (B, L, D)
Day 5Amboseli National Park – Arusha
This morning you will travel by road to the Namanga Border and cross over into Tanzania, where you will continue on to Arusha for a late lunch (own expense). Overnight stay at FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON ARUSHA. (B)
Day 6Arusha - Tarangire- Lake Manyara
After breakfast, you will be driven to Tarangire National Park for a game drive and lunch. After lunch you will continue to LAKE MANYARA SERENA SAFARI LODGE for your overnight stay. (B, L, D)
Day 7Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will depart on a game drive within Lake Manyara National Park. After lunch, you will continue on to NGORONGORO SOPA LODGE located on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. This will be your accommodation for the next two nights. (B, L, D)
Day 8Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you will descend into the crater for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch. In the late afternoon you will visit a Masai Village. (B, L, D)
Day 9Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti
Today is a long but exciting day with most of the day spent driving through the Serengeti National Park to Mbalageti Lodge located in the Western corridor. Enjoy a picnic lunch and an afternoon game drive en-route to MBALAGETI LODGE where you will stay for the next three nights. Many clients say this day is one of the highlights of the safari. (B, L, D)
Days 10 – 11Serengeti
For the next two days you will be taken on morning and afternoon game drives to see the herds of wildebeest and other animals in the Serengeti National Park. This park is known as the world’s last great wildlife refuge, home to thirty-five species of plains game and 500 birds. (B, L, D)
Day 12Serengeti – Maasai Mara
This morning you will be transferred to the airstrip for your light aircraft flights to the Masai Mara. On arrival you will be transferred to Kichwa Tembo in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara. You will spend the next two nights at KICHWA TEMBO LUXURY TENTED CAMP. Day 13Masai Mara
Today you will be taken on morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Masai Mara is host to the most spectacular array of wildlife with 320 square kilometres of open savannah, woodlands and tree-lined rivers creating an eco-system which supports huge numbers of bird and mammal species, especially lion, cheetah and leopard. Days 14Masai Mara – Nairobi
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport. On arrival you will be transferred back to FAIRMONT THE NORFOLK HOTEL for your overnight stay. (B, D)
Day 15Depart Nairobi
This morning you will be transferred to Nairobi Airport for your onward flight. (B)
