This grand 15-day journey offers an amazing insight into virtually every well-known destination in South Africa. Starting in Pretoria, this magnificent sojourn will spend the first few days taking guests through the Drakensberg Mountains to Nelspruit, the Kruger Park and the historical areas of Pilgrim’s Rest, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and God’s Window. Then it’s on to explore the Kingdom of Swaziland, Hluhluwe wildlife reserve and the world-heritage site, St Lucia Wetland Park. Day seven sees the train arriving in Durban where guests can feel the rhythm of Africa at PheZulu Safari Village.
Next, guests will enjoy city tours of Bloemfontein, the city of roses, Kimberley’s Diamond Mine Museum, and the historic town of Graaff Reinet. Later, you will arrive in Oudtshoorn to visit an ostrich farm and the incredible Cango Caves. Traversing the Outeniqua Mountains, the vehicles arrive in the natural paradise of Knysna where guests enjoy a lagoon ferry ride to Featherbed Nature Reserve followed by a spectacular meander along the Garden Route towards Ashton. On day 14, guests travel by road over scenic mountain passes to Hermanus, once a renowned whaling station, before arriving on the final day in Cape Town for a tour of the Mother City. Day 3Kruger National Park
After breakfast before teeing off at Leopard Creek/White River/Nelspruit Golf Club. Otherwise, enjoy a full day of game viewing in Kruger Park. Return to the train. Enjoy dinner as it departs for Mpaka. (B, D)
This morning you will enjoy a game at Nkonyeni. Visit Ngwenya Glass, Mbabane and Manzini. Return to the train in the early afternoon before tea is served. Depart at Golela for border formalities. (B, D)

Day 6St Lucia Wetland Park
Enjoy a tour of the World Heritage listed St Lucia Wetland Park. (B, D)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Durban Country Club for tee off. Alternatively, disembark in Durban for a cultural visit to PheZulu Safari Village and uShaka Marine World. Return to the train before tea is served. (B, D)
Day 8Ladysmith Battlefields
This morning you will be transferred to Champagne Sports for tee off. You will also have the opportunity to explore the Siege Museum and Wagon Hill on a battlefields tour. Return to the train in the afternoon where tea will be served before the train departs for Kroonstad. (B, D)
Enjoy a tour of Bloemfontein including the Women’s Memorial, Anglo Boer Museum and Oliewenhuis Art Museum (time permitting). Return to the train for dinner and depart for Kimberley. (B, D)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Kimberley Golf Club or enjoy a Kimberley tour. Visit the Big Hole, Diamond Museum and McGregor Museum. Return to the train in the afternoon. (B, D)

Day 12Cango Caves
Today you will be transferred to Fancourt/Ernie Else Oubaai for tee off. Otherwise, enjoy a tour of the Cango Caves and an ostrich farm. Drive through the Outeniqua Pass before enjoying dinner at Fancourt. (B, D)
This morning you will be transferred to Fancourt/Ernie Els Oubaai. Alternatively, enjoy a drive to Knysna and board a lagoon ferry to Featherbed Nature Reserve. There is also the option to enjoy some shopping. Return to the train where dinner will be served in the dining cars. (B, D)
After breakfast, you will be driven the scenic route to Hermanus (160km). Golfers also have the option to play at Arabella before returning to the train. (B, D)
Day 15Arrive Cape Town
Enjoy breakfast before arriving at Cape Town Statin. Upon arrival, you will taken on a full day tour of Cape Town. Return to the station to collect your luggage. This marks the end of your journey. (B)
