Australia – Cape Town
Depart Australia on South African Airways via Perth to Johannesburg, with a connection through to Cape Town.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Three nights at the PORTSWOOD HOTEL. (B)
Days 3 – 4
On Day 3, enjoy a half day tour showcasing the highlights of the Cape area, visiting Cape Point Nature Reserve and the Cape of Good Hope, Chapman’s Peak, Hout Bay and Sea Point. The next morning you will have another half day tour of the city and Table Mountain. Afterwards you will have free time to relax and wander around the waterfront area. (B)
Days 5 – 6
Cape Town – Victoria Falls
This morning you will be transferred to Cape Town airport for your flight to Victoria Falls. On arrival, you will be transferred to VICTORIA FALLS SAFARI LODGE where you will stay for the next two nights. The lodge overlooks a waterhole where wildlife come to drink and provides a regular shuttle to and from Victoria Falls township and the Falls. Enjoy free time to explore the area, with a sunset dinner cruise arranged on one of the evenings. (B)
Days 7 – 8
Victoria Falls – Chobe
Today, you will be transferred by road to Chobe National Park in Botswana. Your lodge is located on the banks of the Chobe River where the four great African countries of Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia converge.
You will spend the next two days exploring Chobe
National Park with morning and afternoon game drives in
open 4x4 vehicles plus boat cruises on the Chobe River.

Chobe – Nairobi
Today, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls airport for your scheduled flight to Nairobi. On arrival you will be met by a representative of African Travel Specialists and transferred to the VILLA ROSA KEMPINSKI HOTEL for your two night stay. The rest of your day is at leisure to explore the city. (B)
This morning you will be collected from your hotel for your tour of the Karen Blixen Museum (made famous in the movie – Out of Africa) and the Giraffe Centre. At the Giraffe Centre you can hand feed the magnificent Rothschild Giraffes. You will have the afternoon free to explore the many markets, art galleries and museums of Nairobi. (B)
Nairobi – Lake Nakuru
After breakfast you will be driven into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru National Park is located. You will be transferred to your lodge within the park, noted for its black & white rhinos and aquatic birds. After lunch, embark on a late afternoon game drive in the park which will return to the lodge by sundown. Overnight at SAROVA LION HILL LODGE. (B, L, D)
Days 12 – 13
Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will be driven to Lake Naivasha, for a boat ride on the lake and a walk on Crescent Island. Lunch will be at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge, before you are taken to your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival you will be met by your driver/guide and taken to your lodge. Here you will explore the rich grasslands and rolling hills known for the huge herds of plains game, black–maned lion, elephants and many other species. You may also like to take a guided walk or an early morning balloon safari (at additional cost) over this magnificent area. Two nights accommodation at MARA INTREPIDS. (B, L, D)
Masai Mara – Serengeti
Today you will depart from the Masai Mara to Serengeti (Tanzania) by air. On arrival at Seronera Airstrip you will be met and transferred with game viewing en route to the lodge arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park. Two night’s accommodation at SERENGETI SERENA LODGE. (B, L, D)
The day will be spent viewing game in the Serengeti. The area is regarded as having the greatest concentration of wildebeest, zebra, giraffe and antelope in Africa. During the migration, there are millions of hoofed animals crossing the treeless plains of the Serengeti. The Serengeti boasts large numbers of predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard and hyena. Serengeti – Ngorongoro
After breakfast, you will travel by road to Olduvai Gorge, the world famous archaeological site where you will stop for a picnic lunch. In the afternoon continue to Ngorongoro Crater where you will arrive at NGORONGORO SOPA LODGE for dinner and
will be your home for the next two nights. (B, L, D)
This morning you will head into the crater for a full day of game viewing enjoying a picnic lunch on the crater floor. Return to the lodge in time for dinner. (B, D)
After breakfast, depart by road to Arusha, arriving at the airport in time for your scheduled flight to the island of Zanzibar. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel set amongst mosques, minarets, Hindu temple towers and church spires in the middle of Stone Town. Three nights at KISIWA HOUSE. (B)
Days 19 – 20
This beautiful “spice island” is a mix of many cultures and you will be captivated by the unique architecture, the exotic cuisine, the smell of spices, the hospitality of the people, the white sandy beaches and the clear blue sea. You will have two full days to explore the island at leisure. (B)
Zanzibar – Johannesburg
After breakfast, you will be met and transferred to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight to Dar es Salaam and then on to Johannesburg. Overnight at the PEERMONT MONDIOR HOTEL. (B)
Johannesburg – Australia
In the late afternoon you will take the free shuttle back to the airport for your onward flight to Australia with South African Airways.
Today you will arrive back in Perth and transfer to your onward domestic flight, to either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
