Day 1
Arrive Zagreb
On arrival in Zagreb, you will be transferred to your hotel with a welcome drink on arrival. You will then have time to relax before enjoying a dinner at a local restaurant (D)

Day 2
Zagreb - Opatija
Today you will be taken on a walking tour of Zagreb with an English speaking guide. In the fortified, medieval Upper Town, you will visit St. Mark’s church, Parliament and many fine old buildings. Proceed to Opatija, situated on the picturesque Kvarner Bay, which used to be the favorite spa resort of the Habsburgs and the European aristocracy. Dinner and overnight in Opatija.(B, D)

Day 3
Istria Excursion
Today you will visit the 2000 year old Roman Colosseum located in Pula, followed by time to relax in Rovinj, perhaps the most beautiful city in Istria and the inspiration of many artists. Depart to Livade for a sample of one of Istrian’s tastiest treasures, the truffle. Overnight in Opatija. (B)

Day 4
Opatija - Plitvice Lakes
The Plitvice Lakes area is the most beautiful and oldest national parks in Croatia, now under UNESCO protection. It consists of 16 lakes connected by magnificent waterfalls, which you will enter by boat across the Emerald Green Lake “Kozjak” and take a train ride back to the entrance. Dinner is at the hotel restaurant. Overnight stay in Plitvice area. (B, D)

Day 5
Plitvice Lakes - Sibenik - Split
After breakfast, you will leave the mountain region of Lika via the coast, towards Sibenik. Visit the Bibich Winery, for a gourmet experience that is more than simple wine tasting. Taste the Dalmatian Debit white wine and Cuvee of Shiraz and Merlot, accompanied with delicious Croatian styled Tapas. Overnight in Split. (B, T)

Day 6
Split - Trogir
Today you will explore the sprawling cityscape of Split, with a visit to the palace of the Emperor Diocletian and lunch at a Tragos restaurant. The town of Trogir, a UNESCO site, has a fascinating 2300 years of tradition and culture with a high concentration of palaces, churches, towers, as well as fortresses on a small island. (B, L)

Day 7
Split - Ston - Dubrovnik
This morning you will head to Dubrovnik, stopping on the way near the town of Ston, for a visit to a local winery and taste the famous “Plavac Mali” wine, a very close relative to the Zinfandel. In the afternoon you will arrive in Dubrovnik and check in to your hotel for your overnight stay. (B, T)

Day 8
Dubrovnik
Today you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the old city of Dubrovnik. Spend the afternoon at leisure, before dinner at a restaurant. Overnight in Dubrovnik (B, D)

Day 9
Depart Dubrovnik
After breakfast you will either have a transfer to the airport, or you can choose some optional excursions or cruises. (B)
