Day 2Johannesburg – Soweto
Today you will be taken on a half-day tour of Soweto. With a population of over 2 million people, the Soweto townships are the biggest black urban settlement in Africa. Visit the Kliptown Open Air Museum, Regina Mundi Church (known as ‘the people’s church’) and the Hector Pieterson Museum. (B)
Day 3Johannesburg – Kapama Private Game Reserve
This morning you will depart Johannesburg, flying to Hoedspruit Airport before transferring to the Kapama Private Game Reserve, situated within the Greater Kruger National Park. Three nights at KAPAMA RIVER LODGE. (B, L, D)
Days 4 – 5Kapama Game Reserve
Over the next two days enjoy a range of game activities including game drives and optional walking safaris. Accompanied by a skilled ranger and tracker, you can expect to encounter a diverse range of animal and bird species which may include lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo, cheetah and wild dog. Day 6Kapama Game Reserve – Cape Town
After breakfast this morning, you will depart the Kapama Game Reserve on a flight to Cape Town. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Three nights at THE COMMODORE. (B)
Days 7 – 8Cape Town
Enjoy a half day city tour of Cape Town and Table Mountain. You will have plenty of free time to explore all that Cape Town has to offer, made easy by your accommodation ideally located in the beautiful Waterfront district. (B)
Day 9Cape Town
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cape Town Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your safari. (B)
