The M/V Hondius was built in 2019 and is the world’s first registered Polar Class 6 ice strengthened cruise ship. Offering luxury accommodation for up to 174 passengers. The vessel features six types of cabins, junior and grand suites, as well as one spacious suite. On board, relax in the stylish observation lounge and enjoy gourmet cuisine in the restaurant. Partake in workshops, performances and educational experiences in the lecture room. For onshore excursions, the M/V Hondius operates a fleet of zodiacs, accessible by two separate gangways and an indoor embarkation platform so you can prioritise time onshore.
Each ship will offer a slightly different cruise itinerary which may include a flight sector or preembarkation accommodation. Itineraries vary in duration, with more or less time being spent cruising the Antarctic Peninsula. These expeditions will be dependent on local weather and ice conditions.
