The Greg Mortimer, Launched in 2019. At just 104 metres long the Greg Mortimer carries a maximum of 120 guests to the polar regions. In addition, the ship’s size and modern ice-strengthened hull offers the chance to further explore some of the places that larger ships can’t reach. However, to ensure best viewing opportunities, the viewing platform folds out hydraulically offering a 360 degree unobstructed views. Above all, there is a warm intimate atmosphere on board.

Each ship will offer a slightly different cruise itinerary which may include a flight sector or pre embarkation accommodation. Itineraries vary in duration, additional or less time being spent in the Antarctic Peninsula. All voyages are expeditions and are dependent on local weather and ice conditions.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your HOTEL. The rest of your day is at leisure to explore Ushuaia.
Day 2Ushuaia
In the afternoon you will be transferred to your vessel for embarkation. You will set sail heading through the Beagle Channel where you will get the opportunity to see some of the Channels marine mammals. (B, L, D)
Days 3 - 4Drake Passage
The next two days you will head south across the Drake Passage crossing the Antarctic Convergence, the biological boundary of the Southern Ocaean. Briefings, orientations, and lectures prepare you for your arrival in Antarctica. (B, L, D)
Days 5 - 9South Shetland Islands - Antarctic Peninsula
Expedition cruising at its most authentic, the route and exploration opportunities in Antarctica are heavily dependent on weather and ice conditions. You will get to see some of the world's most impressive scenery and some Antarctica's best wildlife viewing. The South Shetland islands will be your first sighting of land, an area rich in wildlife and historical significance. The Antarctic Peninsula contains sheltered bays, accessible wildlife and stunning scenery. Your days are filled with memorable excursions, sumptuous meals, presentations by experts in their field, incredible scenery and wildlife to fill your camera and your soul. (B, L, D)
Days 10 -11Drake Passage
The next two days you will cross back north through Drake Passage. Enjoy presentations and workshops as well as a range of onboard recreation facilities. The last evening there will be End of Voyage ceremonies and farewell dinner. (B, L, D)
Day 12Ushuaia
After breakfast, you will be disembark and be transferred to the airport for your onward flight which will mark the end of your journey. (B)
