Andean Lakes Crossing

Overview

The Lake District town of Puerto Varas in Chile is located on the beautiful Lake Llanquihue, offering an alpine setting and beautiful Germanic architecture. This tour features the Andean Lakes Crossing that travels through snow-capped volcanoes, cobalt blue lakes, mystical forests and cascading waterfalls. Travel by coach and boat through the three lakes; Todos los Santos, Frias Lake and Nahuel Huapi Lake, ending in Bariloche in Argentina.

Itinerary

DAY 1: PUERTO VARAS
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your HOTEL for your two-night stay.

DAY 2: PUERTO VARAS
Today you will be taken on a city tour of Puerto Varas. The town is located on Lake Llanquihue, with wonderful views of the snow-capped Calbuco Volcano in the distance. One of the highlights is the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, built in the early 20th Century, which features three striking towers. (B)

DAY 3: LAKES CROSSING; PUERTO VARAS – BARILOCHE
Today you will be driven from Puerto Varas to Vicente Perez National Park, visiting the spectacular Petrohue Falls. You will then travel by catamaran then bus, crossing the Todos los Santos Lake and the Andean mountains. On arrival at Bariloche you will be transferred to your hotel (not included), or the airport.
